Helping People Develop a Different Relationship to Stress through Mindfulness.

Tammy Prince, MBSR Facilitator

About Tammy

For years Tammy Prince navigated life hand in hand with anxiety and rumination. These toxic mental patterns affected her relationships and drained joy from even the best moments. Driven by a deep desire for change Tammy discovered Mindfulness Meditation.

Through dedicated practice, she developed a different relationship to stress, and moved from reacting to responding to life’s challenges with greater awareness, self-compassion and curiosity. Now, as a Certified MBSR Facilitator, Tammy shares this life-changing practice with others, helping them cultivate a more mindful approach to living and meeting themselves where they are at, moment by moment.

Tammy has also volunteered and presented her mindfulness expertise to various organizations. Her commitment to mindfulness extends beyond formal teaching as she actively engages with communities to promote well-being and stress reduction.

While Tammy offers mindfulness-based stress reduction programs to support stress management and well-being, she is not a therapist or medical professional. These programs are designed to complement, not replace, any therapeutic or medical treatment you may be receiving.

The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is a pioneering stress reduction intervention developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. As a widely researched and scientifically supported approach, MBSR is designed to complement traditional treatments for anxiety, depression, and pain management. It integrates mindfulness meditation to help participants develop a more mindful relationship with stress and a more positive outlook on daily life, ultimately leading to improved well-being.

Mindfulness in the Workplace

This customizable presentation ranges from 1.5 hours to a half-day session, available both in-person and online. Tailored to your organization’s unique needs, this workshop introduces the practice of mindfulness as a tool for enhancing workplace well-being and effectiveness. We bring our whole selves—our understanding, empathy, judgments, and biases to the workplace. These aspects of our inner world influence our interactions, decision-making, and overall experience at work.
